color dye test in RAD for exhaust gasses in rad.
engine compression test.
see oil or carbon dust cold engine rad cap off and in the neck there.
oil in engine pan
radiator tubes clogged, (IR gun tests easy)
bad thermostat..
leaks to many things and ways
bad head gaskets.
all are tests, that you can not do (most)
It can be on the engine on the sides, on your body below the locking of your side of the door, it can be on the windshield below in a corner and it could beby the fuse box i think . I hope you find it
Mitsibushi l200 my engine gave out so I put a older shogun engine in that i had runs great but this was one that didn't have a ecu and half the wires are not needed but my engine management light is on and can't get it to pass mot till it goes out they must come on and go out new mot rules
sounds like the turbo variable vane is clogged up with carbon, check the vaccum line going to the tubo and try to manually move the linkages on the turbo if they dont move you may need a replacment turbo
the clue is in the heater not performing correctly,YOU HAVE AN AIRLOCK,.....undo the topmost hot hose clip to vent any air making sure the expansion bottle is full.....use only antifreeze to keep up the right mix.

I have just got a mitsibushi L200 with no hand book .
Is there anyone who knows how to get it into two wheel drive,
I have tried but get the flashing 4 wheel drive simble still on the display and the sterring is heavy like its still in four wheeldrive.
