Transmission slipping... i have a mazda 626 2000 i had the transmission rebuilt a couple months back.. started slipping again took it back they replaced the solenoid.... got it back on the 17th last friday was on the highway after about 50 miles going 55-75mph (dang construction zones) it started going crazy kicking hard and not wanting to go in gear while its doing that the overdrive on/off light starts flashing on and off.... i do have a broken egr valve (locking clips are broke and its unable to stay connected) could that egr valve be the cause of this slippage?

EGR is not the cause. They messed up on the rebuild Take it back to them and demand they fix it if it is a respectable shop they will have no problem looking into it. and if not a respectable place they are going to give you the run around if you know what i mean

I have a 2002 Mazda MPV. When I start it and drive it revs really high. Sometimes i can take my foot off the gas and it will still accelerate, A LOT! Also when it does this it shifts really hard and there...

The transmission is slipping, have it checked for low fluid level, if that is ok then you need the transmission rebuilt or replaced with a factory rebuilt exchange unit.

2001 mazda 626 code p1744

P1744 - Torque Converter Clutch System Stuck in Off Position.

Either way the problem points to an internal transmission problem.
1. Drive it and see if the codes come back, and see if it is slipping in overdrive.

2. Check the transmission pressure in drive, with the overdrive on and the transmission slipping.

These transmissions have a high failure rate. Have seen internal transmission slippage that showed up in drive with the Overdrive (OD) switch on, but not with the OD switched off. It was related to the coasting clutch being on and off in that range. In that case, there was an internal mechanical transmission problem. We recommend a rebuilt transmission from the dealer and an external transmission cooler - the new rebuilt transmission will last longer.

Good luck (remember to rate this free answer).

Multiple issues here with my 2003 LTZ Trailblazer, long story so please bear with me here. It started with what sounds like the fan overworking, loud... but the temp has been fine. Then the service engine...

What code is it pulling up? Have you checked all the vaccum hoses? To answer your question about the tranny, yes they can be rebuilt, no need to buy a new transmission. Cost is around $2,600 to get it rebuilt. But, let me know what code is popping up.

95 avenger transmission leaking

is it the same seal? it sounds like something was not installed good, or a burr on the axle, i would get a second look at another garage to see exactly whats going on, then take it back to the shop that rebuilt it, if it the same seal it could be a defective axle, good luck hope this helps.

Did you have it serviced or rebuilt, If you had it rebuilt I would take it back to the trans shop for warranty repairs.
If they just changed the trans filter I don't think it would cause your problem. You just have bad luck with the slipping trans

I HAVE A HONDA ACCORD 2005 THE D4 LIGHR BLINKS N GEAR JERKS

It sounds like you have one of a couple problems. First, for the D4 light to be on and flashing, there is a problem the TCM (transmission control module) is seeing. If this is a V6, these transmissions are notorious for having problems internally, and need to be rebuilt at a transmission shop, or replaced. There is also a chance that either the third or fourth gear pressure switches have gone bad they will be the black and brown switches bolted to the top of the transmission. These can also cause this light flashing to occur. I dont understand the rest of your post. If you could clarify what you mean i could try to answer you question a little better

Transmission slipping making noise

If u keep it below 25 miles an hour you should make it, but this loud noise worries me, this noise means something is coming apart, if it does it may lock the trans up, so keep the speed down.

Driving problem

When it does start going if the RPMs are raising but will not shift then most likely the transmission is slipping and needs to be rebuilt. If one or more shift solenoids are stuck/not working than it will only stay in one gear and will not shift. Most likely you are looking at a new or rebuilt transmission.

I would take it back to the rebuilder. Perhaps it just requires adjustmnet.
