Possibly. It depends on what the climate is like where you live. For instance, if you live in an area where the summer climate hits 110 (i.e. Phoenix), then your vehicle will need to be serviced more regularly. Best recommendation, take your vehicle to AutoZone, Checkers, O'Reillys, etc. for a free diagnostic check.

Hello: You may have a cooling fan(s) problem. Start the truck, turn the a/c on max, both fan and a/c control. Open hood the cooling fan(s) should be running. If not then you will need hands on trouble shooting. It could be fan(s) motor(s), relays, relay control, ie PCM, wiring, fuse etc. Systematic hands 0n trouble shooting will be needed with a upscale scan tool.

eather a broken vacuum like or the idle air controler is gummed up it is an eletronic soilinoid contriled by the engine computer and is located at the throddle body held in by two very small and hard to get out screws and electric connector it has be my experance the it will be the IAC valve as the new fuel mixes are gumming them up and they have to be replace cleaning them just wont do it

The most common cause of your heating problem is low coolant levels. Top it up and keep an eye on it for a few days, topping it up again as needed.
Your brake problem sounds to me like warped rotors. As they turn they will push back on the brake pedal. You will have to get them "turned" on a lathe or rep[lace them. The price is similar, so your choice. Hope this helps.
