SOURCE: headlights won't work Chevy K-10 Pickup

With electrical problems I always look for a bad ground wire, especially on older vehicles. Look for any wire that goes to an inner fender or the engine, there maybe a faulty relay in the circuit too. good luck, Chuck

SOURCE: Interior lights don't work on 1997 Buick Park Avenue

the fuse box you are looking for is under the dash on the passenger side, you will need to remove the plstic kick plate then look up and a little to the right, you might have to remove three screws located along the rear edge of the panel, when you have the cover off in the upper left hand corner of the fuse box you are looking for a fuse that is marked [ SBM ] this fuse is for you interior lights, there should be extra fuses, in the second row second from the bottom and the third row second rfom the top, you'll know their spares if they pull out really easy and have no metal connectors inside the slots you just pulled them out of.

SOURCE: instrument cluster bulb is out. how do i replace

It may not be a bulb, as the instrument cluster usually has a number of bulbs and they probably didn't all blow at once. Pulling instrument clusters can be touchy and may not be for the average "shadetree mechanic" however, typically there are a few screws above the cluster going into the dash pad and a few hidden behind the trim panels below the cluster.

Car radio, power locks, interior lights do not work. Headlights will only come on if car is started. Everything worked fine until aftermarket cd player installation was attempted. RCA jack looking thing...

You folks never learn, you can't use just any aftermarket sound system in these newer vehicles. The electronics are all networked together. I have no idea what you have damaged.

Head lights are out hi and low beam all other lights work great checked fuses under hood by fire wall and inside fuse block but all is fine

if you know for sure that the headllights do work(not burnt out),i`ve this happen before, then it could be the headlight switch not working on the headlight side of the switch,or the dimmer switch is not working not allowing power to the headlights on either low or high beams.

My left blinker and brake lights won't work when my headlights are turned on. 87 Fifth Ave

Sounds like the lights in question are not grounded properly. Check for corroded/loose/broken ground connections.

1987 chrysler fith ave

I have taken mine out. You have to get in the trunk and locate the 2 bars holding the rear seat to the backrest. You can see them easily, as they are us shaped. Take a flat head screwdriver, preferably a large one, and slightly bend the bars outward. Then once you get in the back seat give the top of the backseat a good yank out and up, it should come right out.
