Question about 1997 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
Hello. I have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with an a/c that works but does not blow cold air. I have tried adding freon, but the cold only lasts a few hours then I go back to warm air. I have checked for leaks but have not found any. What could be causing this problem, and will it be expensive to fix?
Thanks in advance!
I had this same problem and all i did is put a can of sealer, detecter, stopleak, oiland freon combo in it and it stayed for about a month then i discovered that my evaporater cooler which is located under the dash was bad.simple fix but at a regular parts store it cost about 160 dollars.

If you are loosing the freon you do have a leak.Your system will have to have a special dye shot into the system and then you need special glasses to see the dye.Ask a AC repair shop what they charge.
