Shift indicator appears to be failing on my f3 800 2014 mv Augusta. Shows I'm in one gear, when it's a different gear

Hello: The bulb that illuminates the P-R-N-D-L side is available from any good auto parts store; NAPA, A&A, etc. I used a Wagner # W31-2723, it works great and costs $1.59. For the manual / auto shift side ( + - ) visit your local Radio Shack. The bulb is 12V / 25mA, # 272-1141. Remove the bulb holders
with a small flat blade screwdriver inserted into the slot in the bulb holder and
turn 1/4 turn counter-clockwise. The new bulbs must be prepped by removing
the clear heat shrink tubing and CAREFULLY removing the insulation from the
leads. These are extremely fine multi-strand wires and will cut or break VERY EASILY ! Twist the strands of each lead wire well and insert into the
holes in the bottom of the bulb holder, then wrap the lead wires around the
outside of the bulb holder using the four vertical slots just like the original bulbs were wired. Trim off the excess wire ( you don't want to cause a short-
circuit and pop a fuse ) and replace the square plug into the bottom of the
bulb holder. Insert the bulb and holder into the hole in the pc board and give
1/4 turn clockwise to secure. I engineered this little fix after finding out that
the local Hyundai dealer wanted fifty-odd dollars for the bulb/socket/lpigtail
assy. or the pc board with two bulbs and pigtail. I know the wire prep and
insertion proceedure is a bit tedious, but it works great and sure beats paying the dealer's price ! ! !
