This is one of the service bulletins that came out in December of 1995
    To all Acura Models
    Bulletin No. ASN 1295-02
    Complaints
of "intermittently cranks but Won't Start " can usually be corrected by
opening the throttle while cranking. This little-known tip can be found
in, of all places, the owner's manual.
    The starting the Engine
Section in our current O/Ms says, "If the engine does not start within
15 seconds, or starts but stalls right away, turn the ignition key to
the START position for 15 seconds with the accelerator pedal pressed
half-way down. If the engine still does not start, press the
accelerator pedal the way down and hold it there while starting in
    order to clear flooding.
If the symptom persists with the throttle open, then follow normal diagnostic procedures.

Hi most common fault is crank sensor failure (inside the distributor) very expensive so check to see if you have a good spark first BE careful as over 50,000 volts use insulated pliers when holding the lead with a test spark plug in the end any plug lead will do,if a good spark let me know and i`ll try and help further.

I have found the most common part failure issue with the ignition system is the crank sensor, also called by some the TDC sensor.

Have you checked that you have power to the coil on cranking? You may also want to check wether you have a good strong spark at the spark plug.It could be an ignition module breaking down.If you have no power to the coil you may need to change the ignition relay. Its close to the battery.
