The hum is most likely something to do with power steering system. Have dealer check power steering system mainly the pump and rack & pinion. The dealer either ripped you off or is just guessing

SOURCE: vwCabrio humming noise

Did you replace one front bearing or both? It could be the other front wheel bearing.

SOURCE: 2003 Trailblazer, the front drivers side wheel

It sounds like a problem within the front differential, possibly broken spider gears. If so broken gear shrapnel may be jamming that wheels output shaft.

SOURCE: My car is making a loud humming noise. Starts

Could be a CV shaft, but it could also be the car is out of alignment causing one of the tires to scuff making the noise. If you've replaced any steering linkage, it may be the cause. Also check to see if a inner tin brake shield is rubbing on a brake rotor or wheel.

It is making a humming noise

Does it change with vehicle speed or engine rpm?
vehicle speed: check wheel bearings lift vehicle and support it with jack stands grab the wheel at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions( to rule out steering linkage play) and wiggle in and out. A bad bearing that loud will have some play.

My town and country is making a loud humming noise

It all depends if the humming sound comes from the engine or the transmission. Check the idler bearings, the water pump bearings or the belt.
also if there is fault on the alternator or AC pulley there can be humming.
finally if the noise is heard while the car moves , then check on wheel bearings and axle ends .

Vibration/Humming/Grinding noises when stopping or turning left.

when turning left vehicle distributes weight to right front wheel bearing causing load. since u describe a noise in right front while driving straight i would suspect failed right front wheel bearing. see if your noise changes/goes away while turning right that should tell u 4 sure

Key In Ignition Won't Move 2002 Chrysler Town & Country

The steering column sounds locked. Try turning the steering wheel all the way left or right till you hear it unlock or until the key can turn. Note; You must use force to unlock the steering column and don't be scared because it won't break anything.

Steering creeks when turning left or right. front wheel noise.

My advise is when u get a humming noise when banking left or right. Its beter to change both left and right wheel bearing and ball joints. Cause if u think about it those parts are put on at the same time . So if u think about it they have the same where in Terre . left or right hope this helps you.
