Question about 1999 Jeep Cherokee

1999 Jeep Cherokee - Driver Master Control Switch

I have experienced this with two units. The one I received from a junk yard is a little better but none of the door locks work and mirrors do not work.

Does anyone know if the 2005 Dodge 1500 unit is the same as far as wiring? The units buttons are the same and will line up.

Scrapyards generally have interchange's important for their business. I'd check with them.

I dont think you need a module i believe your problems lie in a broken wire in the door harness in the door opening check this by pulling back the flexi covering and tug the wires one at the time and you will find it and the repair is a case of re soldering the wire together

What needs to be done to repair my a/c?

I doubt you will find just the button/switch. You could take the switch apart and see if you can fix it. Or you can replace the whole module.

I cant get the electric window to close on my 94 Grand Cherokee

you can take the door pannel off and put power to the window motor to get it to roll up. but it sounds like you have a bad master switch( this is the whole switch pannel with all the buttons on it located on the drivers door) go to .com to find a local junk yard that will have this part

Windows will not work from drivers side master switch or the single door switches lock not working also remote mirrors dont 2001 jeep grand cherokee ltd

First thing to check is the fuses. Look underneath the drivers side steering wheel (to the left) for a covered fuse box. Remove the cover and find the fuse that controls the locks and windows and mirrors (two-three separate fuses) Pull them out "one by one" and see if they are burned out. If they are, replace them with the correct number fuse.If it is not the fuse, the door lock actuator has failed (for the door locks) or the master switch that controls the locks is bad. Go to your local junk yard and find a replacement for cheap

Junkyard part is fine... new is obviously better but more $'s I don't bother trying to "fix"'s just not worth the effort involved.

A/C Fan blow on high setting only.

It's most likely a bad switch. You could go to a car junk yard and find a switch unit there for cheap. The hardest part would be installation.
