Go to an auto parts store and get a set of replacement cables with the correct length cable and both ends installed, or get a set from a dealer so you'll get the best cables for your car.

Replace coil packs on the ford explorer 2006

What codes P0304 & P0308 ? This just means the PCM detected a misfire on those cylinders .an could be a few different things !
What ignition type does your vehicle have coil on plug or a coil pack with 8 plug wire towers ? If you have coil on plug ignition there are two wires going to the coils , one has battery + an the other is control from PCM . Check power first with volt meter or test light . Or use a spark tester on those two cylinders . No Spark Testing control testing

97 lincoln town car missfire on no.7 changed injectors, plugs, wires ang coil pack still have problem

Check at the distributor where the plug wire for that cylinder comes out of it. Use a timing light by plugging it in at that point and wee if there is a spark from no. 7. if not, there is a problem in your distributor such as rotor, points or electronic ignition etc. If you have spark there check by removing the spark plug then touch the threads to metal ground and see if the plug sparks. if it does, you may have a problem with a valve or injector not actually firing. May be an electronic problem with that injector.

Between the rocker cover and the fuel rail are the coils, one per cylinder hed in place by a smill 8mm bolt. Remove the coil and find the spark plug wire, the arrangement is called a coil-on-plug or COP. Spark plug is in the tube from whince the spark plug wire came. 5/8" deep socket and long extension will reach it. Another hint find some way to clean out the tube before removing the spark plug least all kinds of junk winds up in the cylinder.......SMith

Misfirecyl#5 onlincoln ls 2002

these are individual coils per cylinder replace your number 5 coil that is most likely the issue also it may be time for your spark plugs also.if this is a 8 cylinder the #5 coil will be drivers side front first coil.I would get a good coil from the dealer.

98 Lincoln Town Car CRANKS NO SPARK

6 or 8 cylinder ? Do you know how to test for B+ voltage with a test light or a volt meter ? Look at a wiring diagram so you know which wires should have B+ voltage . You can find free wiring diagrams here Enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine . Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click on ignition . Click the search button then the blue link . Looking at a wiring diagram i see this vehicle should have (COP) coil on plug ignition . That means it has a coil for every cylinder an not coil pack .
