Possible bad ignition switch. Security is partly ignition as well as headlights r part of security all tied to ignition.

Should be looked at by certified mechanic. Not hard, but not easy fix either.

starter need to be recondition or ring gear on fly wheel might also be damaged just repair starter motor first and look at ring gear when starter motor is out

when the problem occur keep ignition key on engine stop. with a test light find out if fuses have all current if not might be ignition switch defect

Hi, when you turn the ignition, can you hear the fuel pump prime? sounds like a buzzing in the tank??

Have to tested spark? Pull the king lead off, hold it near some steel and turn the ignition, should be a thick blue spark...do not touch the spark, keep your hands away from this

Envoy ignition switches are known for having intermittent problems and causing strange indications in the truck. Have the ignition switch changed and I'm pretty sure your problems will be solved.

They have a bad ignition problem. Its more than likely the ignition. Turn the key on, Then right below the ignition theres a hole. take a long skinny phillips screw driver and push it up through the hole and you will hit a release for the ignition. Push it up as you pull the ignition out. Then try to start the car with a flat head screwdriver. Write back if that doesn't work but i have a feeling it will.
