I would advise u to return to the installer & question his work. Have the battery & charging system checked & check for electrical shorts. The installer should be able to help u. I never heard of a connector that doesn't snap in if all is well. Good luck. (it can be done but not professionally) Poss wrong alternator

SOURCE: missing a female connector from wiring harness to igntion coils

Just compare the old with the new. How can it be missing if the harness is from your car. It had to be there when you disconnected it? iF its not there, that may be one difference in the 95/ 95. You really need to put any 94 parts on that match your car, not the engine .

SOURCE: RECENT ENGINE ROOM FIRE VAPORIZED ALTERNATOR

Hi, this is a 2 wire Delco alternator. The wire from the terminal on the back goes to the battery or starter, and the other (excite) wire goes to the battery light in the dash. It also goes to the PCM--not sure which pin, sorry.

Disconect the Negative battery cable, remove the Accessory drive belt, remove the Alternator mounting bolts, remove Alternator electrical connectors, remove Alternator.
Install in reverse order.

On the 2.2 and on the 2.4 they are mounted near the top of the engine between the head and the radiator.

You may have already resolved this issue.
First, which engine do you have, and which amp alternator ?
I am only showing the main battery terminal and a two wire plug on the back of the alternator.

Headlights not working

1. Verify that both low beam headlights are not burned out.

2. If both headlights are OK, inspect the low beam wiring and connections.

3. Check for corrosion at connector C101

4. C101 is a 15 cavity black connector located under the battery. If OK, backprobe and ground the Dark Blue low beam wire at that point, if the lights work check the Dark Blue wire for an open back to the switch. If they do not work check for an open up to the headlights.

How do i change the alternator

DISCONECT THE BATTERY.
V6, Alternator is on back side of passenger side of engine. Remove negative battery cable, Release belt tension at automatic tensioner. Remove upper metal bracket over alternator. this bracket will have 2, 8 mm bolts into alternator. after bracket removed one lower bolt goes through alternator. this bold has a nut on the back side and is difficult to get out. But it can be done. Someone put it in there. you can get it out. After bolt is removed you can rotate the alternator to gain access to electrical connectors.

4 cyl Alternator located passenger side front if engine. Remove negative battery cable, Remove metal bracket from exhaust manifold, remove lower through bolt and rotate alternator to gain access to electrical conectors.

2006 Ford Tarus Over Charging from Alternator

Could be a pinched wire that did not show up when new. May have worked thin over the years.... Though to locate at times..... Bulk head headers can be a culprit, any where a wire passes through or over metal parts. Check for corrosion near battery terminals and alternator as a corroded connector can be "seen" as a resistance to the alternator and it will output more amps to compensate.....

Either the gauge is bad, the cable is kinked or the speedometer connector is bad...at the tranny.
