SOURCE: 2000 alero, started up fine,

This is a Direct result of a Bad Alternator. You can Run on what is left in the Battery for a Little while and if it sits for a While the Battery will retain enough Power to Start. You may need a New Battery in Addition.

SOURCE: my 1992 corvette Interior light stays on

I am not sure about the 1992 since they have newer dashboard than my 86.

Anyway, I got that same intermittent issue on mine, sometime the battery was drawn in the morning sometime not, very frustrating, until i noticed that the interior light sometime was not going out as it should after 30 seconds when leaving the car in the evening.

I eventually found the timer module after removing the upper dash pad, on the passenger side. The module was just partially unplugged. Put it back in and never got problem anymore (was 6 years ago).

Can i use the light bulbs containing mercury outdoors.?

I assume you are talking about the energy saver type U tube glass, or spiral glass tube (low pressure mercury vapour)
These work fine outdoors, I have used them for 15 years or so in my outside glass ball light fittings. They soon warm up and vapourize the mercury in the tube, the glass is fine.

Turn signals don't work!!

Depending on the year make and model, I would suggest having someone check the turn signal switch for power first.

I just got a new battery installed for my 1995 GMC Jimmy. Upon installation I discovered that my interior lights were on. I've tried installing another battery, checking the fuses, and checking the switch...

clean and lubricate the switches in the door jamb, and spray with lubricant the door latches-worst case just remove the bulbs until you can spend some time chasing it down, and just because, make certain you don't have the interior lights switched on at the dash (it happens)

Iluminite Speaker Instalation 12v DC power

There is 12+ going to the power window switch if you have power windows, you could tap off of that. It's already inside the door, no routing needed. Use continuity test to find ground. Also hook up a seperate switch on the door to turn them on or off.
