It's one of a few problem. One, your battery is not fully charged and isn't getting enough power to the starter, which makes the starter solenoid click because it isn't engaging the starter. Two the starter solenoid is starting to go bad. With either of these two you can have them both checked at your local Auto Parts store for free. More than likely it is the battery. A few more uncommon problems could be that the battery wires aren't attached firmly to the battery terminals or if your battery terminals have build up on them, they need to be cleaned and inspect the wires to make sure they don't have build up in them as well. Let me know if you have any further questions but like I said, it's probably just your battery. Thanks for using FixYa!

could be you have a few bad glow plugs or a relay for them or a bad glow plug controler. the glow plugs are basicly a direct short that creates heat that warms the air in the cylinder to aid initial start.they can be checked wiyh an ohm meter. remove the wire and place one lead on the wire connecter of the plug the other to a good ground.you should have good connectivity. if not replace the plug
