Question about Daewoo Cars & Trucks
I have done the rings, head redone, new values, changed the fuel and air sensors.She idles but as soon as you pick up the rev's she cuts out before coming back to idle.any ideas of where I can start looking for the problem. I am about to put a match to this car of mine from pure frustration... Please help a woman out here

idle stepper motor(IAC) controls idle speed it is located on throttle body
IDLE LEARN PROCEDURE
Whenever the battery cables, the electronic control
module (ECM), or the ECM fuse is disconnected or replaced,
the following idle learn procedure must be performed:
1. Turn the ignition ON for 5 seconds.
2. Turn the ignition OFF for 5 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition ON for 5 seconds.
4. Start the engine in P/N (park/neutral).
5. Allow the engine run until the engine coolant is
above 85_C (185_F).
6. Turn the air conditioning (A/C) ON for 10 seconds, if
7. Turn the A/C OFF for 10 seconds, if equipped.
8. If the vehicle is equipped with an automatic transaxle,
apply the parking brake. While pressing the
brake pedal, place the transaxle in drive (D).
9. Turn the A/C ON for 10 seconds, if equipped.

how about a tuneup-inspec plug wires n distributer area for wear etc-some cars now hav direct ignitions with no wires or dist*--also concentrate on fuel and injector system and posibly computer glitches

hi there the problem describe is a common problem you need to take the car into your dawoo/chevrolet dealer as there was a reprogramme that need s to be downloaded to your ecu to fix the problem should only take about 30 mins so should not cost you to much i used to have around 10 to 15 a week to do
