It is at your rear unit on the high side or your small line

My 2002 gmc sierra a/c blows cool not cold. Compressor cycles but seems to do so too fast. Evaporater cold but on other side of orfice tube is ambient temp. I have replced orfice tube. Freon is full.

Sounds like expansion valve(orifice tube) was installed backwards, it is directional. When Freon is full, suction line(Low Side) should sweat all the way back to the compressor. Also a new dryer would not hurt.

the best suggestion is to give up on replacing compressor clutches and have the system done by an accredited ac specialist shop
excessive pressure from excessive gas is hydraulicing the compressor and making the clutch slip burning it out
next flushing the system removes all of the compressor oil in the system leaving the compressor running virtually dry
next when a system is opened , moisture laden air gets in and that has to be vacuumed out for a period of 2 hours minimum or the water in the air turns to ice and blocks the tx valve
freon gas ( if that the gas that is supposed to be used as many now run r134a) is inserted ,not by the can but by the low pressure and high pressure readings on a manifold gauge designed for that purpose
I would say that by now you would have spent more money than what it would have cost you at the ac specialist shop

2001 Chevy Suburban rear a/c warm front ice cold

I believe there is a expansion valve located on the back part of the air conditioner on the back right side i believe that could be the problem. I think if I am understanding you correctly, your back air is not as cool as it should be or not cold at all. Might want to check this. If I am not understanding you correctly please let me know again what your problem is.

I have a 99 chevy suburban 2500 with rear a/c. i installed a new compressor and orfice and a rear expension valve with acumilator. Also recharged. it only cools at 60 degrees down the road. At idle its 70...

What is the ambient or outside temp? A drop of 30-40 degrees is considered normal. And did you evacuate the system to remove the air? This is a must to get 100% efficiency. Another cause is too much oil/stop leak/or leak detector can affect efficiency

2002 tahoe rear a/c quit working

There is an orfice in the line somewhere but I am not sure just where its located .. I would imagine that orfice tube is starting to plug off and it will work sometimes and sometimes not .. that trash in the orfice tube moves around and lets freon by sometimes.. the orfice is also like a screen device and needs replaced.. thanks jerry
