I doubt they did anymore damage but i`ll bet that the engine was damaged from the training going out such as valve guides and seals and carbon build up on plugs ETC.

Hey, you guys were great to respond quickly. Did not know if the problem was ignition switch or your suggestion of a bad park lock cylinder.
Took it to the dealer and it was a $400.00 bill to replace ignition, they did not even look at it.
Took it to a local lock smith and with a little tug and some lubricate the key went to the off position and was able to remove it ($5.00). Works fine so far.
With your input, at least I was able to talk more knowledgeable to the Dealer / they never heard of this problem before ??

your tl should take 5w20 and yes you should be able to buy honda brand oil as it is basically the same as acura brand exsept for the product numbers on the bottle..which has nothing to do with the oil its self.

When this happens you need to have the vehicles computer scanned for error codes which will be stored to indicate the cause of the fault.
You can have this done at AutoZone for free if this is convenient for you.
Dealerships or mechanic will charge a fee, however this is the only way to determine the cause of the error.
If this helps please leave a vote for the solution. Thanks.
