AC not working

I have a 2002 Lincoln ls v8. My AC is not working. I have took the car to a local shop ,and they check all pressure switches, fuses, relays, the power distribution box in the trunk, The system is fully charged but the problem is there is no electrical power getting to the AC clutch. At the shop they ran a hot wire to the compressor just to check it, Its fine. I have done a self diagnotic using the control panel and there wasnt any trouble codes. I even tried a new control panel the compressor is still not getting any power. So wit this being said the control panel is good, the compressor is good, all relays and fuses good . I need help Please somone

Apparently the local shop did not trace the clutch wiring back to the power source to find out why no voltage was getting through.

SOURCE: i have a 02 lincoln ls . the air conditiong is not

YOU COULD HAVE OPEN OR SHORT IN THE BLACK YELLOW WIRE GOING TO AC COMPRESSOR CYCLING PRESSURE SWITCH. CHECK FOR A SHORT OR OPEN IN RED YELLOW WIRES AT THE AC PRESSURE CUTOFF SWITCH. USE VOLT METER AND CHECK FOR VOLTAGE AT BOTH SWITCHES. PROBLEM COULD BE IN THE EATC MODULE THAT SEND POWER TO PURPLE WIRE THAT FEEDS THE AC PRESSURE CUTOFF SWITCH AND AC CLUTCH CYCLING PRESSURE SWITCH THEN FEEDS THE AC COMPRESSOR CLUTCH SOLENOID.

I have that same car

You need to start with a scan tool on it

I won't say you need a dealer, but the shop will need a data
base & like the LS or they will be wasting their time

Someone would need to check the fuel pressure with a gauge before and after you start it.
Could be the pump relay or the check valve inside the fuel pump in the tank.
If the check engine light is on you would need to get the computer scanned for trouble codes.

2002 lincoln ls heater dont work in winter and ac dont work. i took it to a local shop they check all pressure switches, ac compressor is fully charged , all fuses, relay all are good. I thought maybe it...

The PCM - powertrain control module energizes the A/C clutch relay . Don't know what this other guy's talking about ? No VCRM on your vehicle .Engine computer controls it . PCM . Now if the climate control , heater / A/C is not blowing out of the vent's it's probably the heater blower control module . If you had it to a shop what did they say was wrong ?

2004 lincoln ls ac blowing hot air hotter on one side ac running

Your issues can only be solved with the use of a Scanner and Diagnostic Trouble Charts and System Charts.
Everything is Electronic and complicated. I just looked at my LS Shop Manuals.
I would prefer you went to a local shop, but you could go to a dealer.
Without a Data Base some shops subscribe to,they won't repair this vehicle,it is way too high tech
I own a 2004 V8.

My AC blows hot air unless it's set on 60. The dealer has tinkered a few times. It works for them, but not for us. It's a 2002 Lincoln LS V8 with dual controls for the AC.

The LS is not a vehicle your can diagnose over the internet. I have a 2004. It is a very complicated high tech vehicle, with one of everything ford has come up with ,all in one veh. I have a $400.00 Powertrain/Emissions Manual. Without it, and years of knowledge, your only choice is leave it up to the pros. I hate to see you go to a dealer. Why they haven't fixed it is anybodys guess. When you say it works for the dealer, have you actually been in the service bay with the tech, working on it?? If not ,do so,or go to a local shop that works mostly on Ford Products. If you don't, it with be a push & poke, wish & hope type of troubleshooting venture ,you'll be paying for. You've already been there. If you have any stored codes, give them to me.
