All signals and other flashers work but passenger front flashers do not work

Use a test light, test for power and ground at the bulb contacts. Then test for power and ground at the wires. Probably needs a new socket, common problem.

Replace turn signal on 98 taurus

Well, it's not really clear what the problem is with your turn signals. If they just aren't flashing, there's a good chance it's caused by one of three things... Either the flasher its self has gone bad, or on most vehicles, if one of the turn signal bulbs have burned out, the signals won't work on that side. Lastly, the simplest cause... The turn signal fuse!
The flasher relay can usually be found either plugged into the fuse block or under the dash on the driver's side. It's usually silver or yellow and is about 1 1/2" round and about 1 1/2" high with two prongs. Just unplug the old one and plug in the new.
Good luck and Happy New Year,
Bill

2004 ford taurus turn signals don't turn off when steering wheel turns straight again

There is a cam assembly inside the steering wheel. It is not too easy to get to and wears out too quickly.

I have 89 bronco 2 my brake lights turn signals both work my tail lights don't work have check fuse n blubs what might be the problem

The turn signals and brake lights use the same circuit and filament in the bulbs. The tail lights are on the other circuit which comes from the headlight switch.
Do you have power on the tail light fuse ?

Turn signal dosent work

you need to check to see which bulbs don`t work both front and back lights for the signal on the side it`s not working, you don`t say if any signals work or not if no signals work then you need to check the fuses under the dash on the driver`s side.now if it`s just one side then check the lights as mentioned above.if one isn`t then replace the bulb.if neither bulb is working then it sounds like the signal flasher is not working.turn on the hazard flashers and check the lights front and back.if all bulbs work then leave the hazards on and look under the dash for the flasher that is making the noise, this will show what the signal flasher will look like, then find the signal flasher on the fuse panel under the dash it should be located on the fuse panel.and replace

I have a 2004 Ford F-150. The brake lights stopped working but the turn signals and runnung lights work. I checked the fuse and the light bulbs but no problems there. What could it be?

The issue is most likely the Brake pedal switch because the barke and turn signals use the same wires from the combination/turn siganl switch to the tail lights. I might just need an adjustment.

My right front turn signal wont work the bulb is new the fuse is good what else can i check? it is on a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, the parking light works just not the turn signal.

Check the terminals inside the bulb socket also you could turn on right side turn signals and while holding socket in hand move wiring at base of socket to see if you might have wiring problem if that is ok leave signal and start moving back harness to see if you have a broken wire.

Turn signal problems

Turn signals have a relay (its a small switch that charges and discharges current) which controls your turn signals blinking speed and interval. This is most likely your problem. You should be able to get a new one at your local parts store. Follow these instructions, in this order, and let me know how it works.

Step 1:Turn on the hazard lights and walk around the Taurus checking that all four turn signal lights are working. If any of them are not working, replace the bulbs. A non-working bulb in any of the turn signals will often make the turn signals appear that a flasher is going bad.

Step 2:
Locate the fuse box and check the fuses for the turn signals. There may be more than one. Replace any fuses that are blown and then recheck the turn signals again. If they still aren't working properly, then move on to replace the flasher. Step 3: Look for a round, silver-colored object near the fuse box. Put your finger on the object and turn on the turn signal. You should be able to feel a mechanical clicking as the turn signal blinks. This is the flasher. Step 4: Pull the silver flasher out of the socket and replace it with the new one. Each of the flashers should have two pins sticking out of the bottom side. Start the Taurus and recheck the turn signals to ensure that they work. Joel
