E320 I'm getting message the restraint system is defective and has been deactivated and the red battery picture coming up what does this mean and if I drive the car will I mess the car up

no, you won't mess up the car.
The fault may be in the seat belt/harness or with the airbags.

It may just be the electronic sensor at fault where you connect the seat buckle.

There is no reset, unless there was a full deployment then the system is repaired. See our dealer...If it isnt the air bag warning, check the seat belt buckles, something ma have gotten worked down in the buckle preventing full contact after buckling..Good luck

Dash lights come on when i touch the brakes car seems to cut out battery light flickers i think its when i brake very lightly any tips thanks

Hi,
Looks like your brake light harness was repaired and reconnected it in the wrong way.
Check the rear brake light and park light harness. Electrician can check and restore the harness.
Hope that helps you out.
Thanks for asking FixYa!

How do i remove hardtop on a 1990 mercedes sl 500

Assuming the hardtop/soft top system is operating properly-push the red switch in the console towards back of car until the top pops up. Make sure you unplug the defroster harness at the r rear of top (behind passenger seat. It will take 2 people to grab the top and pull it up and off. If this system is inoperable- there is a tool in the tool kit(if not you can buy one at the dealer-called a hard top removal tool) and unlock the 2 locks in the front of the top by the sun visors, and 2 locks located behind the seats by the quarter glass panels and the 2 locks in the rear accessible through the trunk. Your owners manual will describe how to do this procedure. I hope i have been helpful

1991 mercedes benz 300ce. When I start the car and buckle the seat belt or belts the warning buzzer comes on and off. I don't know if it is a seat belt problem or an ignition problem. I only have the car...

on the driver,s side under dash there is an audible relay called a seatbelt warnung relay. I would recommend replacing it because by just unplugging it you may experience interior lighting issues. It is a very common problem with that era of mercedes. If you remove the under dash you will be able to locate it by sound with the key on. Unplug it with the key off.
