If you have no spark, you need to change your plugs. Possibly the wires too.

SOURCE: My starter on my 2000 Suziki quad makes a clicking sound and won't turn the engine over.

Either the starter will have to come out for testing, rebuilding, or replacing, or the battery is not strong enough to power the starter-maybe it's low on charge. Are all your battery and starter connections clean and tight? Verify the condition of your battery before you condemn the starter.

Need to check for ignition fire, correct fuel pressure and make sure the cylinder all have enough compression. This is just a few things to check to determine the problem.

Truck will not start unless I use starting fluid.

Will it keep running after it start?
if not it could be the fuel pump.
Lau down under the truck and bang on the bottom of the fuel tank in the center hard with your hand a few times and see if it starts. If so you need a new fuel pump.

Possible distributor cap cracked? Possible short in the ignition system? Fuel Filter clogged? Fuel Pump not producing enough pressure to keep it running? Shifter linkage broken? Is there a Check Engine Light On? More details needed.

First, check the fuel pump safety shut off switch, you can check that first, then check fuel pump, filter and fuel pressure regulator and fuel related fuses and relays. Next, remove the O2 sensors and just hang them on a piece of wire out of the way...now try starting the vehicle, if it starts, get the catalytic converter checked for blockage...other checks are
Pick-up coil or fuel pump control module....cheers

Try cycling your ignition switch from off to on (don't turn until it cranks, just turn to the on position where dash gauges, etc. light up. When you turn it to the on position, listen for the sound of your fuel pump runnig for a just a few seconds. This is how the fuel systems is kept pressurized for quicker starts without undue cranking.

Try this tactic for 7 or 8 times , one right after another....then try to start the car.

If the car starts OK after this exercise, I'd consider replacing the fuel filter.

If nothing changes, when you do get it started, check the running fuel pump pressure, also check the operation of the fuel pressure regulator.

Hope this is of some small degree of help.
