Question about Buick Cars & Trucks
If your key has the resistor pellet with the short wires on the shank, the wiring in the column may have failed. I recommend bypassing. If you want to bypass, I can provide the procedure for making a bypass resistor and installing it at the bcm. Let me know.

The fuel filter is located underneath the car in front of the gas tank.
You have release the fuel pressure. Remove the fuel filler cap, locate the fuel test port on the fuel rail on the passenger side on the end of the right real fuel rail for a 3.1L engine.
3.8L engine yhr test port is located at the pressure regulator under the trim cover.

this is a process and I would reccomend you get the manual either from your local library or that you buy one from your local autoparts or book store. you have to take the dash apart to do this and it is rather complicate and has many connectors hidden and othwerwise and the manual will help greatly
