I'm looking for a repair manual for a sq9185 brother sewing machine.

You might try REPAIRCLINIC.COM. I have always found them to be very dependable for parts that are hard to find plus general instruction manuals.

MULTI-MODE MANUAL TRANSAXLE SYSTEM ADJUSTMENT
1. USING INTELLIGENT TESTER: CLAMP POSITIONADJUSTMENT (CLUTCH POSITIONADJUSTMENT)
Tech Tips
The multi-mode manual transmission system has a load controlled clutch cover (adjustment system). The pressure plate moves depending on the wear
condition of the clutch disc lining.
When removing or installing any parts related to the multi-mode manual transmission system, move the clutch actuator to the clutch clamp position. This is
for normal operation of the load controlled clutch cover (adjustment system).
If the clutch position adjustment operation input fails, perform the operation again from step (a) more than 15 seconds after turning the ignition switch off.
Note
Do not depress the brake pedal while performing the clamp position adjustment using an intelligent tester.

How to adjust parking brake

With old style handbrake, you can remove some screws around the handbrake covering. The screws are sometimes well hidden so you have to look around.
When you get the covering off, there are two adjusting nuts at the rear of the handbrake. Turn the nuts until you can get "5 clicks" on the handbrake to set the brakes.
Some jack up the car while doing this so they can rotate the wheels by hand to feel when the brakes touch the pads.
Hope this helps

Just replaced timing sprockets and chain, cover and water pump and the trucks timing is off just a hair, how can i adjust it by the distributor? 1997 dodge 1500 ram 4x4 360 moter

Do not attempt to adjust timing via the distributor. Timing is PCM controlled and is not manually adjustable. Base timing must be set with a factory scan tool when the distributor is locked in. If you attempt to adjust it with the vehicle running, you'll notice nothing changes, but when you shut it off and go to crank it later, it will not crank because the PCM has lost base timing.

Basically, you're going to have to go back and fix your timing problem by redoing your previous repair.

Also, spark timing is different than engine timing so that would only mask the engine timing problem, not actually fix it.

Where is the timing belt/chain located on a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire, also where is the water pump, valves and t sensors, located in the car as wekk thanks.

I recommend you get the Haynes repair manual on your vehicle for all of these. That will tell you not only where they are but how to check, adjust or replace them if needed. The timing belt is normally located on the front of the motor under a cover, the vales are located under the valve covers on each side of the motor, or top of the motor in a 4 cylinder, and the temp sensor location will depend on which engine you actually have installed in the vehicle.

1993 camry 4 cyl. what is totally involved to replace tappets?

You have to remove the timing belt, the valve cover and the camshafts to replace them. You can just replace the shims on top of the tappets just by removing the valve cover and compressing the valve springs.
