SOURCE: 2002 rpm goes up to

Sounds like the clutch, if a standard trans, needs to the be replaced. If it's an automatic, you need to take it in for diagnosis. Your trans. might be going bad, slipping, may just be low on fluid, if it is use some Lucas trans nonslpi and the proper tranny fluid to fill it to the proper level. Add the fluids and test drive bfore going to the shop, unless the tranny is fuul allready.

SOURCE: I have 1991 Chevy Caprice

sounds like an idle air control valve. some can be pretty expensive, good news is they can be cleaned. get a can of brake parts cleaner, a rag and go at it. they sometimes get a sutty build-up that will make it not register right. its no big task, two maybe three screws. pull it out, clean it good, check the o-ring, and put it back. hope thats all it is.

SOURCE: i have a 1991 camaro and my tach wont work

I had the same problem with the tach on my 92 Camaro. Tried the resistor fix but it didnt work. Finally found a tach board at the junkyard that worked for about a year.
I found a new replacement tach board. Only had it for about a week but it seemed to fix the problem! Hurray!!

My 2006 Buick lacrosse reduce power light came on today--what does that mean

Reduced Engine Power
Refer to Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Description in Engine Controls - 3.6L or Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Description in Engine Controls - 3.8L
TAC System Default Actions/Reduce Power Modes
There are 2 reduce power modes that the engine control module (ECM) can default to if an error is detected in the throttle actuator control (TAC) system. If an accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor 1 or APP sensor 2 circuit fault, throttle position (TP) sensor 2 circuit fault, or if a TP sensor 1 circuit fault is detected with some APP angle, the ECM goes into one of the 2 reduce power modes. In this mode, the engine torque is limited so that the vehicle cannot reach speeds of more than 100 km/h (60 mph). The ECM remains in this reduce power mode during the entire ignition cycle even if the fault is corrected.
If there is a condition with the throttle actuator control circuits, throttle actuator command vs actual position fault, return spring check fault, or a TP sensor 1 circuit fault, the ECM goes into the other reduce engine power mode. In this mode, the engine speed is limited to 2,500 RPM and the 3-6 fuel injectors are randomly turned OFF. At this time the Reduced Power indicator is commanded ON. The ECM remains in the reduce power mode during the entire ignition cycle even if the fault is corrected. Observe, if a TP sensor 1 or throttle actuator control circuit fault is present at the time the vehicle is at idle, with no accelerator pedal angle, the engine may stall.

Tengo un toyota yaris 2004 ya e limpiado todo los sensores la iac etc y el auto al encenderlo en frio se acelera demaciado asta 3000 rpm luego al calentarse baja ya no s que es lo que es

My understanding of you question is this:

I have cleaned all the sensors, etc, on my 2004 Toyota Yaris, yet when I start the car while it is cold, the RPM reaches 3000. Once it has warmed up, the rpm lowers by itself.

Why does it do this?

If that is right, then this is normal behavior, though it is a little excessive.

Perhaps the throttle-plate bypass valve is not operating freely; You should check that out.

sounds like it may be either a converter problem or u got some bad clutches in third in the case you need to go to a tranny shop.
