New ignition switch? New key as well. Immobilizer/Alarm needs pairing. Put key in ignition, disconnect battery for 3 hours. Connect battery, wait 15 minutes.

Make sure you battery cables are tight. Loose and corroded cables will cause sparking and burn the cables out with heat as well the car will not perform the way it should. Its good to take the cables off the battery and clean the connections off with baking soda and a little water and when you put them back on the battery put a little grease on them as well.. Making sure the connections are tight before doing this.
