Two THOUSAND bucks! You could get a professional restaurant fryer for that.

If it doesn't get hot, sounds like the element is faulty. If no lights on, then it is a power supply problem. Is it 110 volts or 220 volts? If 220, that is your answer, your home is 110.

I have a 2004 jeep grand Cherokee limited with a 4.7 V8 HO. Do have to put a 4.7 V8 HO engine back in it or can I just put a regular 4.7 V8 in it?

the HO is a high output version of the 4.7. the differences are internal, the externals *should* be the same.

to be sure, though, call an auto parts store and ask them if the 4.7 regular and 4.7 HO use the same MAIN SEAL. this sill ensure that the regular 4.7 will fit a 4.7 HO transmission, as the main seal comes between the back of the engine and the front of the transmission.

What is the whining noise when driving, when I press on the gas it will stop?

Does it sound like a foghorn? My wife's 2001 Navigator was doing the same thing, turned out to be the mass airflow sensor. I did not buy a new mass air flow sensor, I went to advanced auto and bought a can of mass air flow sensor cleaner. That worked for us.

I have had one vehicle come to me and it was dishing out 18 volts blow every bulb. and fried the ecu and all the relays and ignition. and that was down to the alternator. it was luckie the battery did not blow up.

No light behind the heating and air conditioning controls

is it a manual or auto climate system ?? I don"t remember the auto deal but..... if manual- set the fan speed to #2 position and pull the knob straight off. It might put up a fight and you might have to use both hands... no joke. When the knob is off you'll see the little bugger, it might have simply fell outta the socket

I have a 2000 Camaro. My problem is front turn signal/fog light related. fog lights don't come on at all. No biggie but mentioning it due to my second part. With my headlights manually on...

You can replace the parking light/turn signal bulb with LED lights. The LED draw next to nothing in AMPS and produce no heat at all and last for ever. You can pick up the replacement LED lights for your Camaro at most Auto Parts store like Auto Zone or Pep Boys. Good luck and keep me posted for any more questions you may have, I'm running the LED lights on my wife's Montana for that same reason.

1999 Dodge Durango NO HEAT

Bad NEW thermostat? I had the same problem on my first generation Dakota. The problem for me turned out to be the DODGE thermostat I used to replace the old Dodge part. I went and got a Stant from local auto parts store using the standard temperature spec and quit shivering the next time I drove it. I hope that helps!
