Eurovan check engine light and no power to diagnostic port

Hi guys, I have a 2001 eurovan mv, 169k miles, automatic vr6 AES. check engine light was on, codes were for fuel mixture and airpump. Replaced them both. Fyi, there was water in the air pump. 1000 miles later, the check engine light is back on, and no power to the diagnostic port under the steering wheel. Any ideas? Thanks a bunch.

2000 vr6 jetta gls 2.8 engine ... Got camshaft position sensor (g40) Engine speed sensor (g28 incor . Correlation Fuel trim bank 1 (mult ) system to lean p1128 intermittent Help please don't...

Code p1128 refers to the fuel mixture, (see bottom of this message). The fuel to air mix is being read as not enough fuel. It would be worth getting the oxygen sensors checked as all the faults your getting could be all linked together. A specialist auto electrician should be able to help with a diagnostic test. (Might even be cheaper than a dealership).

My 2001 VR6 Jetta seems to not want to start when I turn the key. I usually have to pump the gas before it will start. Just had the starter replaced but still has check engine light on. I was told might be...

pumping the throttle pedal will not make it start any easier ,i would suggest trying to change the autochoke temperature sensor so it enriches the fuel when its cold .but even this wouldnt throw the engine light on so again i would ask a local mechanic to have a look for you and read the codes as to why the engine light is on

Check engine light is on - 3 codes 17748,17573,17755. Fuel mileage is down significantly, as is engine power

17748 camshaft sensor and crankshaft sensor incorrect correlation [bank 1]. Valve timing is most probably incorrectly set. 17573 Rich mixture. Can be caused by high fuel pressure. -Faulty Lambda Probes. - Blockage in exhaust system[ loose baffles] - Blockage in inlet[clogged air filter] Petrol tank breather system [faulty canister purge valve]. 17755 same as 17748 but bank two. Check valve timing, Fuel pressure and for loose baffles in exhaust system.

1998 Saturn SL2 engine light

Possible Causes
The following are malfunctions that could cause a rich condition:
^ Fuel pressure too high. Perform fuel pressure test.
^ Leaking fuel injector(s). - Perform pressure leak down test.
^ Vacuum leak around the MAP sensor grommet.
^ Oxygen sensor contamination.
^ Restricted exhaust or air intake.
^ Fuel Vapor Canister saturated with fuel.

IMPORTANT:
If the front oxygen reading voltage is above 600 mV and the rear HO2S is above 600 mV all the time, the O2 sensors are probably not
at fault.

My dealer recommended a 'timing belt' change for my 2001 VW eurovan, with the 2.8 VR6 engine, at 100K miles, to the tune of about $1200 US. an independent garage i called for a second quote said that...

on that engine it is a belt newer vw's all have belts, and yes it is recomended at 100,000 miles. to do that job is a lot of work if i were to do it it be between $1,000.00 to $1,500.00
