You have three options: replace the battery, charge the battery with a charger, boost the battery.

SOURCE: how to replace the light bulb on exterior mirror 2003 ford expedition

The one with the turnsignal intergrated into it?

If so.....

Push the Mirror FORWARD, up close to the pivot poit there is a small torx head screw - unscrew that.
At the tapered end carefully pull/pry down. That end has a small metal spring clip that holds it up, be careful with it, if it snaps, you can NOT by a new one...

SOURCE: 2003 ford expedition has service engine light on

It does not take 3 hours to change spark plugs..I will suggest you get the right equipment to do this job.Get the right tool that can sit on the spark plug and unscrew....You will need to disconnect the coil pack that sits on top and disconnect the wires if needed. From there it is self explanatory.

Battery is dead and I want to charge it and take it in for replacement

Boost your car with jumper cables and let the car idle or drive around for about 20 minutes for the alternather charge the batter on its own .if the car shuts off after you started it might be your alternather is no good . the reason why ur alternather might not be working is because the batter all it does is give enough power for the starter to crank the engine as soon as the engine starts running it gets all its juice from the alternather and it charges the batter as well. but some times when the alternather works and the batter is dead meaning all the cells inside the batter are dead it will never take the charge from the alternather. so you would have to change the batter.

if you would like to know how you can you test both parts useing a volt-a-meter... just ask...

p.s. I think its ur batter if you never changed it. so get that changed for the winter so you wont have any more starting problems during cold wheaters
