I suppose if you are determined on not fixing the problem correctly and you can start the vehicle by jumping the starter relay, you could rig a relay of your own from the column off of the starter signal wire from the ignition wire from the ignition switch to the starter. I personally think you should fix the problem with the security system installed on the vehicle. If price is an issue, buy the part from a junk yard, but remember the security has to be learned as followed.

look under the dash find the yellow wire at the ignition switch and follow it down to the fire wall, is there a relay in line with it so jump a wire across it to bypass the relay or take it out all together and connec t the yellow wire back up

Unfortunately yes. It shouldn't have done so but now that it is, the only people who can do that is the dealer. NOW.... where this gets tricky is, the one who intiated the repair should be liable to have it reprogrammed and have included that in his estimate for repairs.
