How to replace 1950 Chevy headlight

These sealed beam headlights have a chrome ring around the outside edge...this ring must be removed by one screw located in the ring...you can just loosen it to remove...usually located at the bottom of the bulb...when this is removed, you will see 2 or 3 springs attached to the bulb...these also need to be removed and you can then slide the bulb out from behind the chrome trim...reinstall in reverse...hope this helps.

I have just bought a 2006 used Honda Odyssey and, to my dismay, realized that if the van is parked on any incline, the driver's side (manual) sliding door will not stay open. (Passenger side is fine.) Do...

The sliding door lower roller latch most likely needs to be replaced. It has a spring powered latch that should hold the door open. This spring is probably damaged or broken.

It should be possible to mount a factory roof rack by removing the roof trim molding and the interior headliner. Roof rack hardware would have to be installed from the inside, then new roof trim molding (with sized cut outs for the rack hardware) would be mounted outside. The new rack would then be able to bolt up. The headliner would then be replaced. Possible but maybe not very easy.

Kia sedona outside door handle replacement

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Pull back the weather seal and you'll be able to get to remove the bolts securing the outer handle on

Mirror, outside drivers side vibrates, how to disassemble

At $400 it sounds like he is going to replace it, and not repair it.
Items like outside mirrors do not easily lend themself to repair.
They are pretty much go/no go items.

Taking the inside door panel off is easy.
Roll the window down.
Remove any screws holding the trim (should be by the door release lever, and possible 1 or 2 at the edge of the panel).
Also, some models have bigger screws/bolts just under the armrest, remove those also.
GM uses a plastic "christmas tree" fastner in the door panels. It is easiest if you purchase a door panel removal tool (Couple of $ at any auto parts store).
Start at the lower edge, slide the tool between the trim panel and the door, and pry up gently.
Work your way around the door (F&R edges, and the lower) until the panel is free,
Then slide the panel up (it is hooked into the window channel).

To remove the mirror, there are 3 nuts on the back side. Remove those, while someone is holding the mirror, and then pull the mirror out a little. Disconnect the wiring plug to the mirror.

This whole process shouldn't take you more then 10 to 15 minutes. People that do it all the time usually do it in 3 to 5 min. So it is a simple job.

Reinstalling it, is just the reverse of the removal.

You may want to look at aftermarket mirrors, or you may what to try a salvage yard for a replacement part if the factory replacements are too expensive.
As mentioned earlier, these are go/no go items, so there are no "instructions" on how to fix them.

AIR HISSING NOISE COMING THROUGH DOORS CHROME TRIM.

Trim generally does not have much to do with body sealing. Check to make sure that the rubber door seals are intact and are actually touching the door frame. Make sure your door is properly aligned in the frame. Sometimes the hinges wear and cause some drooping. If condition is not severe, sometimes you can "fatten up" the door gasket by sliding a length of rubber hose inside it. As far as trim goes, most trim on Jeeps is glued on.
Good Luck

Do you mean at the bottom edge of the door? If so, open the door and down in the lower front corner on the inside you'll see a screw. Take that out - it's the locating screw for the trim piece. Then from the outside, slide the lower trim piece rearward to disengage its mounting clips, and it should come off in your hands.
