The size is still available from most quality tire retailers
the all seasons black wall may be out of production and all tubeless tires get a new valve stem in the rim

SOURCE: 1995 pontiac bonneville stalls

I just went through lots of troubleshooting and expense on my 1996. Whenever I would lift my foot off the accelerator and was below about 30 mph, the rpm's would starts jumping around and sometimes it would stall. If I gave it a little gas (accelerator), I could sometimes keep it running. It also backfired once in a while. Starts right back up. Also, if I let it idle while in part, it would die after 1-2 minutes.

I ended up finding a hole in the fuel regulator. About a ~$70 part if you get an AC Delco, but very simple to change.

SOURCE: 2000 Ford Explorer AWD purchased with different size tires

It is true that driving with different size tires can damage the transfer case, depending on how long it was driven like that. But--- even if the tires are the same size it can cause this. if the tires are worn and two tires are new the circumference of the tires must not be more than 1/2 inch difference from each other, take a tape measure and put it around the tire in the center and measure the difference of each tire

Just go to a tire store. They can resolve your problem quickly. A valve stem is a common item.

Car shakes when reaching 45 to 55 miles per hour

sounds like a broken belt in a tire or the wheels need rebalanced. i would recommend that you have your tires rotated and balanced by a trusted tire store.

I have a 98 Bonneville with a bad vibration at 65 mph,new struts, new jack shafts, new front wheel hub assy;s new cooper tires, new motor mounts. Do you have answer?

This most likely may be due to the new tires... make sure that they are balanced correctly... 1 out of 10 times this will happen and you should only be able to feel it at certain MPH... somtimes worse then others.

What type of tire is recommended for a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am GT?

If the vehicle has the standard factory 16 inch wheels fitted you will need to purchase tires in the size: 225/50R/16. There are many brands and designs/models of tire available in that size. ( The size of tire currently fitted to your car is written on the sidewall of the tire).

There are many cheap and nasty tires on the market so go for a reputable brand and select a premium performance tire. Many cheap tires are poorly built and cannot be properly balanced so you will get a vibration through your steering wheel that any amount of tire re-balancing cannot correct. Often the cheap tires also offer very poor levels of grip and generate a lot of road noise when driving.

Always buy the very best tires you can afford.

Goodyear Eagle GT (all season tire) would be a sound selection and prices are reasonable.

Bridgestone RE 960 AS (all season tire) would also be a good selection.
