Question about 2004 Pontiac Vibe

1 Answer

The air conditioner in my 2004 Pontiac Vibe doesn't work on the first three settings, it only works when it's on high. I don't know much about cars, but my boyfriend says it could be the blower motor or the blower motor resitor. Any ideas?

I have a 2004 oldsmobile alero doesn't blow that

a/c that is not providing cold air is caused by a leak of freon/refrigerant. have an a/c technician check your cooling system if it has leaks. after checking, have it charged with freon.

Where can I find a diagram that shows me where the correct port is to add refrigerant for my A/C that has gone out? Also, where is the fuse box exactly? My car is a 2004 Pontiac Vibe

Common Sense

If the refrigerent is gone,it leaked out &
poluted the air

Now you go to a repair shop that does A/C
work, not all shops know how to do that

You have the leaks repaired,a vacuum pulled,
leak tested,and properly charged

If you never attended a training class to learn
refrigerant theory, you can not work on A/C

the fan relay(resister) that control fan speed is probably burned out. When this occurs it will only blow at high speed because its getting 12volts directly to the fan
