I need to dolly-tow my 05 pacifica awd. The mfr doesn't recommend it... if I remove the rear drive shaft can I do it anyway? If so, how difficult is it to remove on this car?

It will set codes for rear drive unit and you have to remove exhaust and exhaust heat shield to get to drive shaft

How to drop the drive shaft 2006 kia sportage not LX v6 4wd and 2wd push button for 4wd have tow dolly want to put front wheels on dolly any problems with doing that thank you

This is what I would do; Drive it on to dolly. Secure the front tires to the dolly have it ready to tow. Go under the Sportage remove the 4 nuts and bolts attaching the drive shaft to the rear differential. Disconnect the drive shaft and ziptie it to the chassis above rear differential. Leaving the front of the drive shaft in the transmission will prevent it leaking trans fluid. Ready to go!

How do you put a 2001 dodge durango in neutral to dolly tow it. I know to put the transfer case in neutral but can't seem to shift the transfer case into neutral, 4h and 4L and awd shift

If your going to put the front wheels on a dolly then it won't matter whether or not the front end is in neutral,if the rear is going to be lifted then it is a good idea to remove the drive shaft, this will keep the transmission from turning.

Hello--- can I tow a 2000 AWD volvo wagon with a dolly? Thanks!

Um...no...in order to tow you need rated tow-cable or shock absorbing chains or a tow hitch. you would also need hazard lights that also show which way the towed vehicle is turning (ppl cant see the towing car's turn signals) usually there are magetics ones that hook up to the towing cars trailer light system.
Safe towing by LAW is the issue here...could you tow it with a dolly...yes...but is it against the law..YES and the LAW protects you from hurting yourself, others, and property.
I hope this answers your question. and please be safe. (dont do it)

Can i tow 94 subaru legacy awd with a tow dolly

Not true. If you have the fuse in place to disconnect the rear wheels it is safe to tow on a dolly. Subaru recommends not more than 40 MPH and only for short distance if it is an automatic. Manual may be towed longer distance. Have a great day.

I need to know what to do to tow an AWD rendevous on a tow dolly

most AWDs have a fuseholder under the hood labled FWD
a fuse must be inserted into the empty fuseholder to disengage the rear wheels for towing purposes.
