Question about Mini Cooper

My driver door on my Mini Cooper does not unlock when I press the fob, but the passenger door does. But strangely the windows vent down on both doors when I hold down the key fob.

Passenger door will not lock or unlock with key fob?

Passenger door lock is electronically controlled by the door lock actuator. You will need to replace the door lock actuator.

My passenger door central locking has stopped

Method 1: Press lock or unlock button 4 times in succession. Method 2: Switch ignition ON and OFF. Within 10 seconds press lock and unlock button in succession.
This is the only manual reset
If this does not work go to your local auto electrician
The probable fault could be central locking activator passenger door

Mini central locking not working properly. It will lock with fob, but only the passenger door unlocks with fob.

There are two settings for the fob to unlock doors. One is both doors unlock, and the other is the drivers door on the first click, and then after waiting about two sec. pushing again unlocks the passenger door. The dealer has to set this function. I find that if I don't wait long enough, the passenger door does not unlock.
