It's one of a few problem. One, your battery is not fully charged and isn't getting enough power to the starter, which makes the starter solenoid click because it isn't engaging the starter. Two the starter solenoid is starting to go bad. With either of these two you can have them both checked at your local Auto Parts store for free. More than likely it is the battery. A few more uncommon problems could be that the battery wires aren't attached firmly to the battery terminals or if your battery terminals have build up on them, they need to be cleaned and inspect the wires to make sure they don't have build up in them as well. Let me know if you have any further questions but like I said, it's probably just your battery. Thanks for using FixYa!

Sounds like you are having a problem with the battery wires. Either they aren't on completely tight, or they have some sort of build up in the wire that isn't allowing power to the car all of the time. Check the terminals and make sure they are tight and make sure there isn't build up in the wires. If it isn't either of these, let me know. Thanks, Keith.

If your lights and radio do not come on try getting a new battery. If all of your electrical components work try replacing the starter relay. you might have to get this at the dealership(cost approximately $20)

Sorry you are having a problem. I would doulble check that the idle air connector was plugged in and seated well. It's the square connector below the throttle body. I also supect you missed a vacuum line when reinstalling the Throttle body.

Started my 2005 Kia Sorento this morning. It sounded and felt rough than died. Started it again gave it some gas and kept running rough. but RPM's fluxing up and down.

If no "check engine" or "wrench symbol" shows on the dash, the problem may be with bad gas.

If you do have a light displayed on the dash, Autozone, Advance, and Oreilys will scan the car for free. They can give you the defect number and sell parts to you if you can fix it yourself. If you need someone to fix it, at least when you call, you can price the repair by name.

Let the car idle and warm up before accelerating. See if it smooths out or makes noises. The noises would indicate problems that should not be driven.

I hope my solution is helpful.

I have a 2005 kia sorento 80,000 miles a couple of weeks ago this roaring noise comes from the rear end and seems to have got louder with the tire rotation

Check to see if the surface of the tires have even wire, because that will give off a moaning sound that you are hearing while the car is driving. The only other logic that comes to mind could be rear wheel bearings.

Check the water coolant level because some of the hot water goes into the heater radiator behind the dash. Seems you have air in the system.
