Look to see if there are any type of hoses going to the shock. If so they are air. If not than they are gas.

Does a a2000 buick lesabre custom use brakes or shocks

It has both brakes and shocks, these are two very different parts, brakes stop the car, while shocks make it ride smooth down the highway. I suspect you may have some confusion on terms here, so if you need more help understanding some aspect of your car just let me know.

My 1997 buick lesabre custom ran out of gas and after i refueled it....it would not start.....what do you think the problem could be?

Sometimes a fuel pump will go bad if it has run dry. Is the car on a flat level surface? If not you may need more gas to reach pump.

My buick seems to bounce when driving. is it the shocks or something. sue brooks

Your 14 year old car can probably benefit from new shock absorbers, yes. Not only will the ride improve, so too will handling and safety. You will also get better gas mileage and significantly better tire wear. Not replacing your shocks could also lead to other mechanical difficulties.

1997 Buick Lesabre air conditioning

Sounds to me like you have a leak leak somewhere. They can put a dye in the lines to find out where the leak is, Then have that fixed and get it recharged again. Its an expensive procedure though. I hope this helped

My right rear suspension is flat on my 2000 Buick LeSabre Custom. I can hear the air compressor working. On that one side, it rides like a "lowrider." Could I need new shocks.

Hello. A couple things may have happened.1, one of the rear air shocks could have blown out, or 2, you may have a air line leaking or broke. We are here to help you get your vehicle diag and repaired. Craig

it should be air adjustable, if the pump is working, most of the time the shocks leak. have a shop ck out the rear shocks, if they leak, then verify that the pump is operational. Monroe offers replacements.
