SOURCE: airlocking on fuel line.can,t run on below half
Vapor lock doesn't occur in today's cars, the fuel system is a flow return so there is no were for vapor to be, except on top of the fuel tank. Vapor lock occurs when the fuel in the fuel system gets to hot to stay a liquid (boils). Keeping the fuel lines away from the heat (exhaust pipe, etc) will usually stop this from happening. Removing the top of the carburetor is all that is necessary to replace the float. The fuel pump can be tested on the vehicle.if you get a evap, code it could be the fuel cap.

SOURCE: gasoline in a diesel tank
Hi,Did you start the vehicle after you put the gas in the tank? A drain plug is fitted underneath the tank, drain the tank of gas then fill it half way or more it may run a little sluggish at firs but the amount of diesel to gas ratio will mean it will do no harm.Hope this helps.
