Blower motor resistor, you need a new 1. It is close to the blower motor in the black casing.

Sentra AC

There's a 10amp fuse that powers the ac clutch relay and compressor. There are 15amp fuses that power the blower motor and the ac control switch. All of those fuses get power from the key switch. The resistor and fan switch provide the ground circuit for the blower motor.
I would want to know if those fuses are getting power, and if the control panel is working. You should be able to ground the blower motor and make it run on high, and that should not have any effect on if the ac compressor is running or not.
It could be a key switch problem in that the circuit is not strong enough to handle the load from the blower and the compressor at the same time.

The a/c on my 2010 Mercury Milan quits blowing after about 2 hours of driving. Any ideas?

Sounds to me like the A/C clutch is no good and out of adjustment. You should goto your nerrest junkyard and get a used assembly take the clutch off then you learn how it comes off and install it on yours the save the pump for later use if needed. The clutch should only have a .010 air gap after install between th inner elctro magnet and the clutch plate it's self.

Fan works in high speed only, replaced control panel, no change.the compressor will not operate, replaced compressor relay and clutch relay, no change any help!!!!!!!

I can't help with your compressor issue but I can with your blower motor fan. It is more than likely the blower motor resistor. They're designed so that when they fail they default to high. I can't really give you a location or installation instructions since no vehicle information was provided but generally they are located close to the blower motor itself on near the plenum chamber.

Sometimes the electrical connecter burns on the back side of your switch. You can get just the switch and replace it and repair the connecter when possible.

2006 silverado 5 speed heat, the high speed is not working. I do have the 4 lower speeds

The switch, high blower speed relay or the wire harness at the blower motor has gone bad. The highest setting 5 has no resistor, so the blower runs on high but the high current flow ends up burning up the switch's contact on that setting or the relay and may be the resistor wire harness at the blower motor has gone bad. Common would be the switch it self, if the switch is good. Then it's going to be the blower relay or wire leads at the speed resistor by the blower motor under the glove box by the passenger leg compartment. Keep me posted, be glad to help you get your Silverado running 100% again soon.

could be one of two problems either the switch for the fan motor or the motor itself u would need a 12volt test light to check ground one side light and touch the switch connector wires one by one until light comes on this is the main line then turn switch to the 1st speed u should get a light on another wire if switch is working repete for all speed selection if it works then the motor is bad
