Have you checked your fluid level in the master cylinder for the clutch? have you tried bleeding the clutch slave cylinder? and there are two places you can adjust some clutch not sure if yours has one you can look at the slave on the transmission if it has a boot on it remove the boot and look for a nut you can back off the nut and adjust it to lengthen the rod. But if the pedal is low it is most likely a bad clutch plate. or pressure plate. The other place is at the back side of the brake pedal there may be an adjustment.

I have a 2003 Hyundai accent. Everything feels fine but the release point on the clutch is very high.

Check to verify that the fluid level in your clutch cylinder is correct. With hydraulic clutches, there really is no "adjustment," but if the fluid level is low, the clutch plates won't move far enouth.

Can you adjust the clutch on a 2002 hyundai accent

The clutch in this car is a hydraulic design and is self adjusting. If you have a hard pedal with high pedal engagement or a slipping condition you are going to need a new clutch installed.

To change gears, I need to fully press down on my clutch pedal to stop a grinding noise on my hyundai accent 2001Can I adjust the clutch cable,

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

In a manual 2001 Hyundai Accent, the clutch cable could be adjusted. The adjustment point is on the cable 'pad' where it enters the firewall in the engine compartment.

To adjust, the slack or free play must be decreased. This is done by turning the adjusting nut clockwise. Check back by pressing on the clutch pedal to your preference.

Clutch pedal low near floor, can the clutch be adjusted?

hi the clutch on accent is hydraulic operation so if pedal is very low on disengaging clutch ? you may have a problem with the hydraulics 1st thing to check is fluid level? this is the reservoir that feeds both brakes and clutch but is seperaterated inside if fluid low? top up and bleed the slave cyl however if fluid low indicates a leak ? possibly slave cyl? if no loss of fluid ? then prob may be fault in the master cyl ? check fluid come back with any update please ps if this problem has just occured? check for leaks ?
