You need to jack your car up as close to the tire as you can. raise it about 2 inch's ,, put a large pry bar under the tire. A 36 inch to 48 inch Bar and . work it up and down and check for loose parts and or play in the front end. next you need to shack the jacked up side with both hands on the tire . dont forget one hand at 9:00 and the other at 3:00 o clock while checking the right side...change hands for left side. look at all ball joints tie rod ends strut rod boshings idler arms ect. use this on all cars trucks

It is probably the strut bearing. this is a metal bearing that the strut sticks through at the strut tower.

'04 Altima - rattle under car

yea, flimsy plastic under front end, wheel wells, etc., could also be @ brake calipers, they have a flimsy metal clip that creates noise, all these will give you noise, just reinforce the plastic with screws,it works, some silcone will quiet the brake noise, check you CVjoints ,boots, make sure the rubber bellows are still attached, no cuts or splits with grease coming out, that would be a grinding noise. check your BELTS, worn or stretched needing replaced or tightened. that should do it.

While driving I hear a rattling noise from the front driver side

Sound more like something to do with the shock strut.

Front suspension rattles and makes bumping noises when I drive over bumps (even small bumps) and when I turn the wheel either left or right. Possibly a ball/joint problem?

It could be, but check shock bushings, control arm bushings, sway bar and brackets. There are anumber of things that can cause a rattle. The first thing to be done is jack the truck up mput it on stands and start checking before replaceing parts. Pay close attention to shocks bushings and anything rubber.

1997 camry rattling noise when driving over bumpy road also right front door hinge loose

Not a very detailed description, but assuming the rattle is in front it may be bad shocks. A quick test would be to push down hard on the left fron of the car and let go, if the car springs back up and just stays there the shock is fine but if it comes up and dips down once again the shock is bad, it should come straight back up and stay there. Repeat on the other side.
If it were a knocking noise it would possibly be a ball joint.
Hope this helps.

Rattle in front end on right side

your on the spot on both.
make sure the shock is tight on both end and have a rubber bushing bewteen the car fram and the shock. then try the shock first. take a look at spring while you have it out.
change the belt on the compressor and make sure the pulley is square on the compressor, and the any other pulley the belt goes.
