Question about 1993 Ford Ranger SuperCab
Sometimes, when you run an engine completely out of gas, to the point where it dies. There is sediment and debris that settles to the bottom of a gas tank, when you run it too low. Or in this case out of gas that debris will clog the fuel filter. The first thing to do though is continue trying to start it ( to get fuel back into the fuel rail and system ), If it does not crank over and start within 5 minutes ( NOT continuous cranking ) or so of trying then that's your problem. Replace the fuel filter and fire er' up.. Hope it helps.
