You can try getting a scraper, or something flat and stick it in or try pressing the load button to loosen it up

I have a 2010 Jeep Wrangler and a cd is stuck in the stereo. I've tried disconnecting the battery and several other things. it still plays though

it needs to be serviced.
best is to , remove it and upgrade to a media center with no CD.
CD;s are dead. everyone use flash USB sticks now,
like 4000 songs on one stick easy.

the HEAD end CD player must be dismantled to find cause.
it can be simple (done many i have) or hard, expensive and hard to get parts. inside. or just a dirty switch.

My cd changer kept changing cd on its own. Now my battery is dead. Is the cd player the cause for the dead battery, or did the cd player malfunction because the battery was dying?

With the low current draw that a cd unit uses It would take some hours to affect a good battery. Remove the fuse for the cd unit and have a battery shop check the battery for a bad cell ( Load test on the battery). Pull the cd player and have a tecki look at it as I feel you have 2 faults not connected.

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee battery will drain

Ditto here on a 2005 jeep. We bought it new and found the battery dead on a few mornings the first year. Nothing left on. Did the new alternator thing about 2 yrs. ago and a few batteries along the way. This is what we noticed..... If you leave a CD in the CD player, that is the prime little devil that sucks out the juice. Now, we never turn off the car while a CD is in the dash. Now, maybe not necessary every time, but always overnight and now by habit, all the time, we make sure there is no CD inserted when the car is off. Hope this helps.

My 2006 ford focus zx4 does not want to start. yesterday my daughter stuck a cd and got it stuck, we took it out but the cd player kept making noise and the car wouldn't crank so I took the fuse out and...

sounds like a dead battery. Does it run while it is hooked to jumper cables and then die when they are disconnected? If so then you could have a dead alternator as well. The battery is primarily used to start the vehicle and then run all the electrical options. The alternators job is to recharge the battery and run the engine.

03 vibe cd player will not respond

I blew a fuse controlling the radio, charging system, turn signals, heater fan, ,etc..this ran down my battery.

When I replaced the fuse, the CD player would not respond, but the radio worked.

I disconnected the battery for over 30 seconds, hooked it back up, and the time reset on the radio to 12:00 and the CD player works again.
