Question about 2004 Dodge Ram 1500
Operation was intermittent, hit a bump and it would start back up. No it doesn't come on. I removed the blower motor and hooked it up to the battery and it ran. The green wire going to the blower moter shows 12.5 volts, This is even with the fan switch off. I grounded the brown/? wire but blower still didn't run. Blower doesn't work on any speed . I've been told if the resister is bad you will still have high speed.
2002 Dodge Ram 1500 my year wasn't listed
YOU CAN STILL HAVE 12.5VOLTS ON WIRE,BUT ONLY HAVE 2 STRANDS OF WIRE CARRYING IT..WILL NOT CARRY ENOUGH CURRENT TO RUN MOTOR..CHECK WHITE MAIN CONNECTOR UNDER DASH NEAR BRAKE PEDAL..TAKE APART AND LOOK FOR MELTED WIRING..ALSO CHECK WIRING AT IGNITION SWITCH CONNECTOR..THERE WAS ALSO A RECALL ON BLOWER MOTOR WIRING FOR THESE TRUCKS..CALL YOUR LOCAL DEALER AND GIVE THEM YOU SERIAL NUMBER AND MILEAGE..YOUR TRUCK MAY HAVE FELL THRU THE CRACKS IF YOUR NOT THE ORIGINAL OWNER..LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU FIND
