My 1994 bmw 325i wont go over 20 mph when it gets to normal temp, it wont accelerate at all. rpms redline. my transmission was rebuilt with new parts thinking that was the problem. i changed the transmission oil before and after rebuilding it.

I would run some engine diagnostic tests to determine if it is an engine problem. Then I would aim to look at the transmission system. This also involves looking into the transmission's computer. You need to take it to a shop that has a scan tool that can scan the transmission control system. A lot of the BMW have advanved logic in the computer and the average shop will not have the tool. You will probably have to take it to a bimmer dealer.
