The strainer must be replaced on the pump - or the warranty is invalid. The strainer can only be accessed by dropping, emptying, and cleaning the tank.

No - only the wiring harness can be accessed. To replace the pump - the tank must be dropped.
There are 2 straps holding the tank to the vehicle.

Where is the fuel pump located on a 92 Lexus SC300?

Fuel Pump REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ES300 CAUTION
Fuel injection systems remain under pressure even after the engine has been turned OFF. The fuel system pressure must be relieved before disconnecting any fuel lines. Failure to do so may result in fire and/or personal injury.
  1. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
  2. With the ignition switch in the LOCK position, disconnect the negative battery terminal. If equipped with an air bag system, wait at least 90 seconds or longer before performing any other work.
  3. Remove the rear seat cushion.
  4. Disconnect the fuel pump connector. CAUTION
The Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system must be disarmed before removing the fuel pump. Failure to do so may cause accidental deployment of the air bag, resulting in unnecessary SIR system repairs and/or personal injury.
  5. Remove the floor service hole cover. NOTE: Do not lift the fuel pump assembly up using the wire harness.
  6. Remove the fuel filler cap. Disconnect the fuel outlet pipe and the return hose from the pump bracket.
  7. Remove the 8 screws and lift out the pump/bracket assembly with gasket.
  8. Remove the fuel pump lead wire.
  9. Pull the lower end of the pump off of the bracket.

Where is fuel pump on 1992 lexus es300? the spot marked ful pump relay in under hood box has no relay or prongs to plug one in but it says fuel pump relay?

almost every fuel injected vehicle has the electric fuel pump in the gas tank, many require that the tank be loosened from the car but some have access panels under rear seat/trunk or fender to get to them. they are not always fused...

Lexus ES300 trunk leaks when it rains

This may sound odd but if you can put a small person in the trunk with a flashlight while you pour water in the areas suspected, they can trace the leaking area, believe it or not I used to use this method while I was a Ford mechanic. Otherwise, maybe you can apply clear or black silicone to the area or remove the screw or bolt and coat it with silicone and replace it.
