Possible Heater core leak,do you get water vapor(steam)on the lower part of your windshield? If you do does it feel oily?Take a white paper towel and try to recover some of the fluid that's dripping on your foot.Hold the towel under the drip don't wipe it off the floor. Look at the fluid: clear-water(air conditioner condensation)possible drain is clogged.Green or yellow-antifreeze(heater core)

This is probably your heater core. Rub your had on your floorboard to see if it is wet as well. Hope this helps.

If you aren't running the AC then your heater core pipe is located under the dash is leaking coolant. Check the liquid and see if its the same smell as your antifreeze.
If you are running the AC then its possible the condensation tray drain is blocked and overflowing.

It could be that the drain that removes water when the a/c evaporator drips is plugged and it is backing up into the passenger compartment.

If it happens when it rains it could be a leaky windshield or water leaking in through the cabin air filter.

SOURCE: wont hold idle will start with foot depressing gas pedal will run with foot on gas but stalls when foot removed

Check and clean Idle air control valve. Make sure its responding to signal as well. Also make sure ther are no vacuum hoses disconnected. This may not be a "cure" but it's a good place to start.

SOURCE: my car

Is the check engine light on?? If not, I would try base idle adjustment. For that you will have to go to a dealer, because you need a scanner for this operation. Base idle adjustment is done by turning a screw built into the IAC valve, which keeps the car running by giving it air. If your base idle is too low, then the engine is not getting enough air resulting in stalling. Let me know what you find.

SOURCE: RX300 Engine Stalls when I take foot off the gas pedal.

The Idle Air Control (IAC) valve is clogged. This part feeds air to the engine at start-up and idle when the throttle bodies are closed. I removed the throttle body assembly from my 2001 RX300 and separated it from the IAC. After a good cleaning with throttle body cleaner the IAC was good as new. I later decided to replace it during routine maintenance. You can pick up a brand new IAC on eBay (genuine Lexus/Toyota part). The dealer will want upwards of $400.00 for a 45 minute job (all you need are basis hand tools).

SOURCE: Car will not start without pressing gas pedal to

Have the idle bypass valve checked, also called idle air control valve.
If that valve is stuck in the closed position, it's not allowing the fuel to bypass the throttle plate to keep it idling, resulting in stalling, but will keep engine running if the pedal is pushed down.

Sounds like your heater core is leaking. Or the hoses connected to it.

Water drips from firewall when air conditioning is

Under the dash in the middle of the car is a tray that catches the condensation that comes off the aircon.unit.It has a smallish hose that runs through the firewall and lets the water drain away. This hose is blocked or has come off.Not hard to fix, just a bit fiddly to find the hose.Grab a torch, put the front seats all the way back and have a look.In the engine bay the hose will emerge about 1 foot from the centre line of the car.Its about as thick as a finger.Put some line trimmer cord into it and move it around. With the air con running, you may find it easier to find the tray.Hope this helps
