If my info is correct, part of your security system is starter motor disable, so, if it cranks good, I would think it is not your security system.
What about intermittent rpm signal, comes from crank sensor? If you lose rpm signal, you also lose spark and fuel injector pulse as well as fuel pump.
As far as the initial fuel prime, doesn't need an rpm signal.
Any applicable trouble codes?
Take to the shop and see if they can find the problem

you must remove all the plastic face plates around the radio then remove the radio itself.be cautious as you could damage the clips that hold the plates in place.

the way that i was told how to do a quick fix for is to hold the key in the electrical start and the actual start up of the engine and hold it there tell the security light is solid and then turn off the truck then bring it back to that point and let it blink until it turns off then you can start the truck.

Hello kino26763: You can locate the fuel filter at the rear of the car. You will need to raise the car so you can get under it. Be sure to use safety stands for your protection. The filter will be just in front of the rear axle. Passenger side at the gas tank. Should be a small round cylinder looking can.There should be three fuel lines coming off of the filter.

jack the car up and remove the trans pan (12 bolts I think), inside you will find the filter replace it, after u finish refill with the exact same amount of fluid (about 3-4 quarts of Dexron 6 ATF) and then recheck hot, don't overfill...

The fuel pump does come on and run for a couple seconds the car will start and run for a couple seconds and then shuts completely down
