Is there a cruise control light on the dash for a 1981 corvette

Use a mighty vac, it's a hand held pump. Available at most parts stores

If you add to much freon the air compress won't enage and your a/c want come on.

blown filament in bulb replace bulb.

Instrument Cluster is going bad.

I do not beleive the 1981 Vette is Electrical STEPPER MOTORS but simply gets feedback from the Coil

should be on the dash just under your window on driver side

could be a bad brake light switch which is mounted near the brake pedal under the dash try adjusting the plunger which contacts the pedal maybe its on going in far enough otherwise replace the brake light switch

The light comes on to to let you know there is low pressure in the system. If the fluid was extremely low when you filled it the brake linings are extremely worn or you have leak in the system. I would check under the car for any signs of moisture around the brake lines. If your brake linings are good and no leaks can be found you will need to replace the master cylinder. Good luck

You would get the correct carburetor instead for electronic computurized controlled carbs will not work on a 1981 Corvette

hmm..there might be a fuse box under the hood or most likely in the dash or under the passenger or the drivers dash..hope i solved your problem :)

See if you get power from the gray wire. Use a 12 volt bulb, or a multimeter.
