Question about 2002 Dodge Stratus
Time for a tune up. If you have new spark plugs in now, remove them look for oil or gas (oil fouling means leaking rings, valve seals or guides. And gasfouling means bad coil) on them to find which cylinder isn't firing. Clean the plugs with a propane torch or media blaster, regap and reinstall them. Test coil and wires and replace any weak or bad ones. The plugs go through the valve covers and oil can leak by the rubber seal on top or the steel tube on the bottom and cause a missfire between wire and plug. New rubber seals are fairly cheap and you can remove the valve cover, clean and reseal the steel tubes with pure clear silicone bathroom caulking or a tube of black silicone gasket maker.
