How long does it take for a burst bakers cyst to heal

Recovery time depends on the form of treatment rendered. With medications or injections into the knee, recovery can be rapid, within days to weeks. If surgical repair is done, recovery generally takes one to three months.

I am sorry all I ask is what causes a bakers cyst and really it doesn’t give you any real answer at all

A bakers cyst is caused when excess joint fluid is pushed into one of the small sacs of tissue behind the knee. When this sac fills with fluid and bulges out, it is called a cyst. The excess fluid is usually caused by conditions such as arthritis that irritate the knee. It may also be caused by an injury.

What is a cure for osteoarthitis in the knee?

Try the Mayo Clinic site or WebMD for proper information. There is prevention, treatment, or joint replacement. There are physical devices that may offer some relief, such as braces. Cures are snake oil. And the FDA does not test the claims of supplements, rather simply measures amounts of ingredients. Even when there is a mention of an ingredient that has been properly tested, you cannot depend upon the supplement provider to be giving you information about the proper dosage to achieve an effect.

What can you tell me about knee replacement surgery

research this on the net and consult your orthopaedic specialist. It will depend on your bone structure (porous or not), age, your willingness to participate in rehabilitation exercises and your general health, Basically if you have a good surgeon ( check references ), are reasonable healthy (non-smoker, non -diabetic) and are not excessively over weight then most replacements have a success rate of around 85%. There is a process available where a lubricant is injected into the joint that is pretty good for a few months while you wait for the surgery. Again this is not the place to get information on such a serious subject so consult specialist surgeons( 3-4 second opinions) and be guided by them

Windshield wipers do not work-- switch works and it sounds as if the motor is working. Suggestions?

Hi

Under the Skuttle panel is where the motor is located, the main motor has 2 arms coming off it, these work on a ball joint type set up kind of a knee joint if you like. basically the joint can pop off and thus causing the wipers to not work but you still hear the motor, the other thing is the arm could have snapped inside, the knuckle joint though should just pop back on, if it keeps coming off then it is simply worn, its a cheap fix though and common sense once you can see the motoe straight forward job. If you need any thing further get back to me
Regards
Dan, p.s the skuttle panel is directly below the windsheild, normall a black panel but not always.

U-joint changing

1.image
Operation: Most universal joints are held in place with a combination of pressed fit with a snap ring and either a bearing plate, bearing strap or a U-bolt. Advice: Most universal joints have two bearing caps pressed into the driveshaft and use a snap ring either on the inside or outside of the bearing cap to hold it in place. Some manufacturers use injected plastic instead of a snap ring. The injected plastic holds the cap in place under normal conditions but will break free when pressure is applied during the removal process. The replacement universal joint will use a snap ring instead of the injected plastic. The other two bearing caps are usually held in place by either a bearing plate, bearing strap or a U-bolt all of which can be removed with a normal ratchet and socket or wrench. Occasionally you will find all four bearing caps using the press fit method. In these cases two of the bearing caps will be pressed into a flange that unbolts from the differential or a slip yoke that slides off of the transmission tail shaft.
